Autumn Hadden was our Midwife when we were in OH and she was phenomenal. Her calming voice was always a grounding force for me. I was a busy Mom of 2 young children already and worked full-time and often found myself frazzled and anxious. Having Autumn there to walk me through that pregnancy was a blessing. My husband was skeptical of Midwives having grown up in the conventional way and believing that only hospitals could provide adequate medical care. Autumn made a believer out of him that Midwives are the embodiment of what medical care should look like. Autumn was (and is) kind, gentle, highly knowledgeable and politely honest. She will give you the facts as they are for whatever situation. Autumn offers facts and education so you can maintain your autonomy and make informed choices without unnecessary pressure for unwanted procedures or processes. We found love for Autumn in our 3rd delivery that wasn’t to be in a hospital for the first time. She helped me feel safe and that my choice to deliver at home was the right one for me.
